The 7th Annual Fall Challenge with Karen Ehmann: Making Your Home a Have
What a great way to celebrate Fall. This is the first time I’ve done this challenge. It’s not difficult. Just a great way to set the mood in your home to have become the haven for your family God meant it to be.
Add to the homemaking inspiirations, reminders for prayer and it’s a wonderful way to start this hectic holiday season.
Here, in Canada, Thanksgiving is this weekend and the first snowfall is on the ground where I live in the middle of the prairies.
I’m just brought in the last of the garden yesterday before the snow and I’m hoping to get my decorating done today or tomorrow.
I hope you’ll join us over at the challenge. I’ll post updates here with all the links. First up is the Welcome to the challenge.
Welcome to The Challenge
The first week has 2 printables a video and lots of decorating on a budget ideas. Even more ideas in the comments.
Stay tuned for the link to next weeks challenge post.Week 2 is here
Week 2 is here and it’s all about the kitchen. The smell of something good in the oven and the kitchen as the heart of the home. Especially in the fall, when we simmer soups, stews and chilis or maybe it’s the time of year you get out your bread recipes.
Are you an adventurous cook or do you pop some corn and heat up a pizza? it’s all about showing love to family and friends (and sometimes strangers).
How do you show your love and keep your home a haven with your kitchen?
I’ll post week three when it arrives
